Tucson Botanical Gardens Field Trip

April 13

Spring has sprung in the gardens. No better way to spend a day than to immerse yourself in beauty. The gardens will be in full bloom and you should bring enough batteries to make it through the day. There will be photographic opportunities around every corner. In addition to the many gardens there are a Red Trailer Farm, Cactus Car and more to photograph.

Please register with PofSB and make your reservations online if you wish to attend because they are controlling the number of individuals in the gardens.

Go here to purchase your ticket(s):  https://tucsonbotanical.org/buy-tickets/

The Gardens requires tickets to be purchased for a slot of time. Our time slot is: April 13, 8:30-10:30. You can't attend the event if you don't purchase your ticket for the event online through the garden's website. Please don't delay in purchasing tickets as we want to be able to get all of us in. Outsiders can also purchase tickets for those hours, so let's fill it up with our club members. We can spend as many hours in the garden as we wish.

Butterfly Magic opens at 9:30. Masks must be worn inside the butterfly pavilion. Edna's Eatery is open at 8:30.

Admission for seniors is $13. Many of us are members and get in free.

I love being in the peace, quiet, serenity and beauty of this very special place. It takes less than an hour to drive there from SB.

The irises should be in bloom with hundreds of other plants. I hope you will register and attend.

Spouses and significant others are welcome!

Located on the site of the historic Porter property, The Canadian Garden Council and the American Public Gardens Association named Tucson Botanical Gardens as one of the top 10 North American Gardens worth traveling for. A lush oasis in the heart of Tucson offering mature trees and expertly cultivated foliage, specialty gardens such as the Cactus & Succulent Garden, Barrio Garden, and Herb Garden highlight the diversity of native plants. Tropical butterflies from around the world are featured in the Cox Butterfly & Orchid Pavilion Oct.–May. Experience year-round art exhibits, classes, and events, as well as the creative, seasonal menu of Edna’s Eatery. Now celebrating over 40 years of living beauty, The Tucson Botanical Gardens is a unique gem not to be missed.

The irises should be in full bloom
