One of the most important activities we can do to improve our photography is to learn how to analyze our images in the field and at home for the compositional, technical and artistic elements that help create the image and story we are attempting to communicate in our images, in an impactful way.

The objectives are to:

  • 1. Become better photographers by increasing our understanding of the techniques available to us that will best communicate our intent and enhance our stories to provide visual impact

  • 2. Become better at analyzing our own images in the field and in post processing

  • 3. Learn from each other

Who is this group for:

  • 1. People who want to be part of achieving the above mentioned objectives

  • 2. People who are willing to share their images for analysis and learning

  • 3. People who are willing to engage with others in the group in analyzing images

  • 4. People who would like to see what this is all about and listen in

If you plan to join the group, please send 1-3 photos to SUSAN at least 3 days prior to the meeting or bring them on a thumb drive.

Additionally,

Bret Muter the director of the Parks in Focus will be at the meeting to give a short talk.  There was some interest at the board meeting by some of our members volunteering to help out with their work.  Here is the website:
