Smartphone Photography
In the December Smartphone SIG meeting, we discussed the look and capabilities of Snapseed, a freeware app designed for photo editing on both Android and iOS. This is handy for quick edits that are perhaps too complicated for the phone editing features and available before uploading photos to computer editing platforms. We'll return to this in the future.
We quickly brainstormed some subjects for future meetings, and we'll touch on two of those during our Jan. 16, 2026, meeting at the Topaz Rm at 9 am.
- Transferring cell photos/videos to a computer, cloud, or mass storage device to save phone memory. I have a couple of videos to watch, and please be ready to share your personal methods with the group. There are MANY approaches for this.
- Travel photography is the smartphone forte. I have a fun video to watch and start a discussion.
As always, if you are interested in showing phone images to the group, place them on a flash drive for showing and share how they were created. Alternatively, send to me by email:
